Paint & Pint with Four Quarters Brewing

PaintPintFQFriday August 2nd 6-8pm

Create your own acrylic on canvas of the moons’ phases and the starry night sky. Inky tree and bear silhouettes flood the foreground of the painting. Finish your piece with glow in the dark paint to make the moon and stars glow at night. The best part of art is in the process of creation. While mixing and blending paint you may lose track of time, leading you back to the present. The craft beers may help you as well!
All supplies for painting are provided and you receive a pint of Four Quarters Brewing delicious craft beer.

En Plein Air

We are excited to host regional artists to “create live” during our event. Artists will set up their work stations and paint the scene live for attendees to watch. Artist schedule on Saturday:

  • 11:00 am – Annette Hanson
  • 1:30 pm – Kimberlee Forney
  • 4:30 pm – Amy Hook-Therrien
  • 6:30 pm – Elizabeth Peroni Schutte
A native New Englander, Elizabeth Pieroni Schulte has been making art since childhood an only recently began to focus her sights on the seasonal views around Vermont. She finds the autobiographical quality inherent in landscapes intriguing and her exploration in this new genre compliments her earlier figurative work.
Having grown up in northern Vermont, Kimberlee Forney enjoyed creating art at an early age.  Her vibrant and fantastical style developed out of a basic idea involving a lively and musical bar scenario with human-like forms embedded in the scene (titled “Jazzy at the Bar”).
From Windsor, Vermont, Hook-Therrien is a watercolor artist influenced by watching everything change through the seasons, by what’s among the trees, hidden in the snow or basking in the sun. She uses pen and ink in paintings to get the fine details into her work and then lays the watercolor over top.
Born in Denmark, Hansen has lived in Vermont since she was seven years old. She loves color and nature, and draws inspiration from both. She paints with acrylics and watercolors and loves to paint landscapes, especially outdoors “en plein air”.
