What would a festival be without camping? Exactly.

Bear North will have two varieties of camping available – slope side & car camping! It’s all FREE but you’ll need to RSVP for car camping as we have limited space for that. See below for details. General Admission ticket required. 

Slope Side CampingFREE – Bring your tent, sleeping bag and any other accoutrements to set up your base camp for the weekend in our slope-side camping zones. Set up starts Friday afternoon. Exact timing will be announced later but regardless, you’ll have plenty of time to settle in and still be on time when gates open! Everyone must be packed and gone by noon on Sunday. CARRY IN- CARRY OUT!!!! NO PETS. NO OPEN FLAMES. NO GLASS.

Car CampingFREE w/ RSVP – There will be limited space set aside for car camping so you must RSVP online when you purchase tickets to save your spot. If you want to park next to friends, please arrive together. Cars, trucks, SUVs, mini vans or other standard vehicles are allowed. We do not have RV hook ups. CARRY IN- CARRY OUT!!!! NO PETS. NO OPEN FLAMES. NO GLASS. Car Camping Pass will be issued upon arrival and must be clearly displayed in dash of vehicle.

Camping Basics – Please remember that we offer free camping with the expectation that you will be respectful of the venue and carry out all your things! 

  • Bring your tent, sleeping bag, camp chair, reusable water bottle and other camping necessities.
  • Quiet Hours are 1am to 8am. Please be respectful of your neighbors at all times.
  • Bring your own food, beverages, and ice – but NO GLASS! Outside food and bevies are allowed in the camping areas only and not allowed inside the fenced perimeter. Secure your food from night critters in a locked cooler, storage box, or car.
  • Pick up micro trash around your campsite and take all camping equipment with you. Bear North pays a weight fee for disposal, so any gear left behind will have a direct impact on our ability to offer the event in the future at an affordable price and at the beautiful Sugarbush North.
  • There will be water and portolets accessible throughout the weekend.
  • Bring trash bags, but if you forget look for the bag dispenser at check-in
  • Pets are not allowed – no exceptions.
  • Tents must be secured to the ground when left unattended.
  • No ice will be sold on site.
  • No open flames or incendiaries.
  • No weapons, drugs, fireworks.
  • No generators.
  • No running vehicles or engines.
  • Bear North Music Fest and our partners are not responsible for loss/theft of or damage to your personal belongings.

Parking

  • Those with day-tickets to Bear North will have a designated parking zone. Please cooperate with our attendants when you arrive.
  • Overnight parking is available  if you are slope side camping or joining friends at their car camping campsite for the weekend.
  • Accessible Parking is available – please contact us for details.
  • Bear North Music Fest and our partners are not responsible for loss/theft of or damage to your personal belongings.
